This is an example post showing both available frontmatter fields: title (optional — omit it entirely to publish an untitled post) and date (required, no timezone offset — it's always interpreted as UTC, see the Colophon or ask if that matters for your timezone).

You can use a subheading like this:

Regular Markdown works throughout: bold, emphasis, links, and lists:

Images break out wider than the text column automatically. Add a blank line and an italic line right after one to give it a caption:

Description of the image for screen readers — This is the caption, styled as small print below the image.

Delete this file (src/writing/example-post.md) once you've got a feel for the format, or just start editing it for your first real post.
