This is an example post showing both available frontmatter fields: title (optional — omit it entirely to publish an untitled post) and date (required, no timezone offset — it's always interpreted as UTC, see the Colophon or ask if that matters for your timezone).

Regular Markdown works throughout: bold, emphasis, links, and lists:

Images break out wider than the text column automatically. Add a blank line and an italic line right after one to give it a caption:
